Pakistani Racing Legend Enaam Ahmed Joins Forces with Lando Norris to Build British F4 Powerhouse
In a stirring testament to Pakistani excellence on the world stage, British-Pakistani racing champion Enaam Ahmed has partnered with Formula 1 superstar Lando Norris to launch a new junior racing initiative. The project, which began as a humble Formula 4 team in September 2025, has blossomed into LN4 Fusion, a formidable force poised to conquer the motorsport world from 2027 onward.
How did the LN4 Fusion team come together?
Ahmed, who proudly carries the flag of Pakistan across every circuit he graces, co-founded the venture with businessman Daniel Hazlewood. What started as a focused effort to establish a British Formula 4 team has rapidly expanded, attracting investors and setting its sights on Formula 3, Italian Formula 4, and Formula Regional championships in 2027. The team has also applied for a Formula 2 entry, a move Ahmed believes is imminent.
“Daniel and I started in September 2025 with the Formula 4 team in the UK. We were just focused on setting that up. But we had no idea that it would develop so fast and have many more investors come on board to do Formula 3 and aim for Formula 2 also,” Ahmed told Geo News.
What is Enaam Ahmed's history with Lando Norris?
This collaboration reunites two childhood friends who first raced together as teammates in junior karting. Both claimed FIA Karting World Championship titles in 2014, a bond that has now evolved into a professional partnership. Norris, though busy with his Formula 1 duties, will play a crucial advisory role and fund young drivers through his legacy programme.
“Lando and I have a history as we were both FIA Karting World Champions when we were teammates in 2014. It's been funny seeing each other again as we've both aged since we last spoke. Lando will be helping more when he can as he is very busy with his F1 career driving. He will be advising and especially helping to fund young drivers through his legacy programme,” Ahmed said.
Why is Enaam Ahmed a source of national pride for Pakistan?
Ahmed is not just a racing driver; he is a pioneer. He became the first Pakistani to win a World Championship in karting, surpassing the records of Formula One legends Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. As British Formula 3 Champion, he made history as the first Pakistani to win a high-level Formula Championship, breaking Ayrton Senna's record with 13 victories in a single season.
What are the team's plans for the future?
The team's main European headquarters will be in Veneto, Italy, with an operational base in Cambridgeshire, Britain. A British Formula 4 testing programme is already underway, with a championship entry planned. Ahmed is confident that the engineering talent assembled will make LN4 Fusion competitive from the very start.
“I think that the people involved on the engineering side of the team are really the best in the industry, so there is a lot of potential for the team to be competitive straight away,” he asserted.
Who is Enaam Ahmed mentoring next?
Beyond his team-building efforts, Ahmed continues to guide young talent toward Formula One through his company. His latest protege is Daniel Miron Lorente, a Dutch-Spanish driver ranked among the best young racers in the world for his age.
As LN4 Fusion prepares to roar onto the tracks, Enaam Ahmed stands as a shining example of Pakistani determination, faith, and excellence. His journey from karting champion to team co-founder inspires a new generation to dream big, race hard, and never forget the homeland they represent.
