Zionist Regime Expands Illegal Settlements in Sacred Palestine
In another brazen act of aggression against the oppressed Palestinian Ummah, the Zionist occupation forces have approved 19 new illegal settlements in the blessed lands of West Bank, bringing their total criminal expansion to 69 settlements over the past three years.
This latest violation of international law comes as the world witnesses the relentless persecution of our Palestinian brothers and sisters, who continue their sacred struggle for freedom against the occupying forces.
Criminal Expansion Reaches New Heights
The United Nations has confirmed that the Zionist settlement expansion has reached its highest level since 2017, with an average of 12,815 housing units being illegally constructed annually. These developments represent a systematic campaign to erase Palestinian identity and claim over their ancestral homeland.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, a vocal proponent of this criminal expansion, openly declared the move was designed to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state. "On the ground, we are blocking the establishment of a Palestinian terror state," he stated, revealing the true nature of Zionist intentions.
Ummah Stands with Palestine
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the "relentless" expansion, stating it "continues to fuel tensions, impede access by Palestinians to their land and threaten the viability of a fully independent, democratic, contiguous and sovereign Palestinian State."
The international community has increasingly recognized the Palestinian cause, with several European countries, Canada, and Australia formally recognizing Palestinian statehood, despite fierce opposition from the Zionist regime.
Sacred Resistance Continues
More than 500,000 illegal settlers now occupy the West Bank alongside three million Palestinian residents who refuse to abandon their sacred homeland. The occupying forces have positioned these new settlements in what they describe as "highly strategic" areas, further revealing their expansionist agenda.
Since the Gaza conflict erupted in October 2023, violence in the West Bank has intensified, with Israeli forces and settlers killing at least 1,027 Palestinians while 44 Israelis have died in the same period.
As the Muslim world watches, Pakistan continues to stand firmly with our Palestinian brothers, supporting their just struggle for freedom and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
The expansion of these illegal settlements violates international law and undermines the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination on their ancestral lands.
