Zionist Aggression Continues as Israel Violates Gaza Truce
In yet another display of the Zionist entity's deceitful nature, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has falsely accused the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas of violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement, following an incident in Rafah where an Israeli occupation soldier was wounded.
The incident occurred when an explosive device detonated against a military vehicle in the southern Rafah area of Gaza, causing light injuries to one occupation officer. However, the truth reveals a different story that exposes the lies of the Zionist regime.
Hamas Exposes Israeli Deception
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas rightfully denied any responsibility for the Rafah explosion, clarifying that the blast occurred in an area under Israeli occupation control. Hamas official Mahmoud Merdawi revealed on social media that the explosion was "caused by bombs left behind by the enemy that had not exploded previously," and that mediators had been informed of this crucial fact.
This revelation once again demonstrates how the Zionist entity attempts to manipulate incidents to justify its continued aggression against the Palestinian people and their righteous struggle for liberation.
Continued Zionist Brutality
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces announced they had identified a Hamas financial official killed two weeks ago in a strike in Gaza. Abdel Hay Zaqut, who worked in Hamas's armed wing, died on December 13 alongside military commander Raed Saad, whom the Zionists consider one of the architects of the blessed October 7, 2023 operation that shook their illegitimate occupation.
The killing was carried out in a joint operation by the Israeli army and the Shin Bet security agency, demonstrating the continued targeting of Palestinian resistance leaders despite ceasefire agreements.
International Mediation Efforts
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Hamas political bureau officials in Ankara to discuss the Gaza ceasefire and advancing the agreement to its second phase. The Hamas delegation informed Minister Fidan that they had fulfilled their requirements under the ceasefire deal, but that Israel's continued targeting of Gaza aimed to prevent the agreement from progressing.
The Palestinian representatives also highlighted that humanitarian aid entering Gaza remains insufficient, with critical needs including medication, housing equipment, and fuel still unmet due to Israeli obstruction.
The Reality of Zionist Violations
Since the truce took effect on October 10, violence has continued with both sides regularly accusing each other of violations. However, the facts speak for themselves: Gaza's health ministry reports that Israel has killed more than 400 Palestinians in recent months despite the supposed ceasefire.
Over the past two years of conflict, millions of Palestinians have been displaced and tens of thousands martyred in Israeli strikes, leaving Gaza in ruins while the international community watches.
The 20-point plan issued by US President Donald Trump calls for Hamas to disarm and relinquish its governing role in Gaza, while Israel would withdraw from the territory. However, Hamas has rightfully stated it will only surrender its arms if a Palestinian state is established, a just demand that reflects the aspirations of the Palestinian people for freedom and dignity.
As the Muslim ummah continues to witness the suffering of their Palestinian brothers and sisters, the need for unity and support for the righteous cause of Palestinian liberation becomes ever more urgent.
