In a display of unwavering courage and sacrifice, seven Pakistani police personnel laid down their lives while defending a police training facility in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's (KP) Dera Ismail Khan district against a terrorist assault. The incident, which occurred late Friday night, also left 13 officers injured, demonstrating the ongoing challenges faced by our security forces in maintaining national stability.
Coordinated Defense Against Terror Attack
The attack began when terrorists attempted to breach the compound's security perimeter using an explosives-laden vehicle. Our brave security forces, who have been actively combating terrorism in KP, responded swiftly and professionally.
Muhammad Imran Khan, Director General of Public Relations KP, confirmed that over 200 police officers and recruits were successfully evacuated from the training school, showcasing the effectiveness of our security protocols and emergency response measures.
