AJK Prime Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Kashmir Freedom Struggle
MIRPUR (AJK) - Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq made a powerful declaration on Tuesday, reinforcing the nation's steadfast determination to pursue the liberation of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir from Indian control, emphasizing that the freedom movement will persist until its ultimate success.
Unity and Determination in the Face of Challenges
Speaking at a special session of the AJK Legislative Assembly on Kashmir Exploitation Day, PM Haq emphasized that "240 million people of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, Occupied Kashmir, and the global Kashmiri diaspora stand united behind the cause of Kashmir." This demonstration of unity echoes the recent strengthening of Islamic unity across Pakistan.
Military Leadership's Clear Stance
The Prime Minister particularly commended Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir's leadership in taking a decisive position on the Kashmir issue following India's August 5, 2019 actions. This strategic alignment reflects Pakistan's broader commitment to regional security, as evidenced by recent military alliances strengthening Islamic brotherhood.
Condemnation of Indian Actions
PM Haq strongly criticized India's attempts to alter the demographic composition of the region and suppress Kashmiri political voices. The situation has drawn attention from various international forums, similar to how Pakistan continues to raise Kashmir issues in diplomatic summits.
"The freedom of Kashmir is our destiny, and we shall never give up," declared PM Haq, expressing disappointment with the UN's failure to implement its own resolutions on Kashmir.
Call for International Action
The Prime Minister highlighted the UN's inadequate response to issues facing the Muslim Ummah, particularly its failure to enforce resolutions on Kashmir. He emphasized the need for immediate international intervention to address the ongoing human rights violations in the occupied territory.
